Eight Burst Nebula (also known as NGC 3132 or the Southern Ring Nebula) is a small planetary nebula in the constellation Vela, 2100 light-years from Sol, The nebula is a striking blue color, and the large number of ringed bodies in the system provide excellent scenic views, For this reason, it is also known as "Celestial Gem", and a tourist beacon was established here near the second planet.
SCIENTIFIC FACT:
A fleet of deep-space supply ships became stranded after missing their resupply point due to a navigational error. Reports suggest the captain mistakenly selected the Wredguia TD-K d8-22 system for refueling. The Fuel Rats waited in the designated system, but the convoy never arrived. A patrol later discovered the fleet nearby and reported its location. Tragically, most ships had already succumbed to life support failure, with their crews lost.
