King Varkus Delray’s latest enthusiasm is taking shape south of Liberation Point Starport, where a kilometre-wide excavation will become a new Onslaught arena.

Tarydium made the sport infamous when 20,000 people missing from the Thargoid War were rescued from an underground death game. Their testimonials brought Onslaught galactic attention. Critics of Delray’s announcement suggested the King had learned the wrong lesson.
Cubeo’s version will use telepresence-controlled robots, keeping contestants safely outside the fighting. A Class 8 shield supplied by the city power grid will protect spectators. The battlefield can be rearranged between matches or flooded for shallow submersibles.
Liberation Point Regent Helena Ward is coordinating district access, while engineer Adrian Velez directs construction. Their immediate challenge is dismantling the old superstructure without compromising the neighbouring river channels.

This week’s work centres on controlled demolition and water-retention systems. Engineering resources and specialists are needed to clear the site and secure its waterways.
Engineering commissions will support this first stage of construction.
