This week’s spotlight shines on Lakon Spaceways, “Hard-working ships for hard-working people.”

Major developments have been unfolding within our region of the bubble, the Lord Warden shares his words on the situation:
“In an attempt to improve her economy, Princess Aisling Duval has shed eight control spheres that were unsustainable. The turmoil operation reducing her sphere of influence to sixty nine systems was a resounding success and leaves her with more capital to spend in the future. As a result of this operation, the Prismatic Imperium's system of Kaukamal is now run without being exploited by the Princess. In response to this and the lack of bans imposed by the Princess directly, the Branch of Vigor has decided to integrate the outpost of Dingle Port into our slave liberation programmes. Any Imperial Slaves sold to Dingle Port will be going through educational courses about the slave-free ideals of our Princess and given opportunities to integrate as free citizens, work as part of organizations like Unchain or the Honoris Collective, or join communities in the Adamantine Union region. This model has worked well in other ports where agreements with the controlling factions are in place, like Townes Dock in Uneleni. We hope to make the best of the changed situation in Kaukamal and continue to do our best to show our support to the Princess with action.”
The Susanna Soiree Masquerade last night in the Opera district was a success!  Nobles and dignitaries, many of whom I know personally, all made appearances amongst many other guests. A charity fundraiser took place throughout the night and all proceeds have been marked towards relief efforts during our fight against the Thargoids. I have heard that the committee who organised the masquerade has already begun planning next year’s! How exciting!
New housing investments have been reported in the residential district of Draron Qebridge. Following many relief efforts, expansion of available living space for refugees has been considered and pursued. Many parts will begin to see construction take place and refurbishment in other areas. It is noted that commute delays are likely as lanes temporarily reroute and public transit makes alterations to their schedules.
The region of Nivlask has been at the forefront of conversation within the Branch of Mind as municipal taxes make their waves throughout Cubeo III and Prismatic Imperium space. Officials within the regional city seat have made objections to no avail. They are reminded that they are citizens of the Prismatic Imperium, and as with all cities and regions, are subject to the very same taxations as others.
A stand-off was witnessed this past weekend between a serial home robber and Branch of Vigor officials. The suspect was holed up in a victim’s home, thankfully nobody was there, as the stand-off lasted several hours before officers were able to flush the suspect out and place them into custody. Rumour has it that this particular instance may be linked to two others that have been periodically reported. The Branch of Vigor reassures the public that they are pursuing these cases actively.
The People’s Media is delighted to announce the return of a fan favourite series “Juxtaposition Remission.” If you are unfamiliar, it’s a delightful show following the stories of two quite different people with seemingly similar personalities. The first two seasons followed them separately until the third season saw them united, taking on their everyday activities. The newest season four, undergoing filming as we speak, is highly anticipated! Who knows what adventures the show’s protagonists will be up to!
Next we want to highlight the success of a recent operation undertaken by a team of CMDRs. It’s been reported that approximately eighteen to twenty thousand hostages have been rescued in an undisclosed system, reportedly in Federation space. We wish all who were rescued well, and will be establishing a point of charity for families of the Empire who have been affected.
