Correspondents were recently sent to the Evermore region following the ‘Battle of Southridge’ that transpired recently. We had one sent to the township of Hartshire, and the other to Astrid with the objectives of learning. The member who made it to Hartshire spoke highly of the morale within the people living there and with the troops stationed there despite spats with the independents of Evermore, and the years long fighting that have taken place, and many wish for that to cease. This high morale however is great news for supporters of Corwin Ryan following the decisive victory they had within the recent battle. What’s more, the battle itself was a combined arms effort with supporters of the Delrays and even the independents of the Evermore Nation. This leads us to our member who arrived in Astrid last week. They spoke with several members of their government and have had nothing but wonderful things to say about the people, ‘They really seem to have their heads on straight and their bearings well oiled’. Following that meeting they spent some time with the locals, and have even sent some lovely pictures! [Beautiful photographs transition in a slideshow]. From what is being gathered, these people are truly happy living their lives as is, despite some wishing to join the Empire officially where others do not. Perhaps peaceful coexistence is possible.
