Much of Cmdr Schielman's past is shrouded in secrecy, much of this secrecy is a result of deliberate action, but a goodly bit has come to light.

The first record of Remilia Vex, a name which itself is likely a pseudonym, was in late 3305, when xe was first seen flying with a rather secretive individual who went by the callsign of Dread Pirate Leavo. Despite his rather ominous name, xe speaks fondly of him, saying that flying with him was where xe, "learned how to be human." He was not the one who was responsible for xer Pilot's license, the entity responsible for this remains unknown, but he took xem under his wing, and by all indication, is responsible for helping xem early in xir career.

After that this period of development and asset acquisition, xe joined the Communism Interstellar, and helped them gain and spread their influence. During xir time with the CI, three important things happened: first, xer work earned xem enough money to afford the beginnings of a fleet, which served as the foundation of xer personal power going forward. Many of the ships xe used throughout xer career, xe first bought during xer time with CI. Second, xe received training in political manipulations, which we believe xe used to great effect working for CI. Third, xe met [REDACTED], who xe held in great awe and reverence. It is believed that xer contact with [REDACTED] changed xer worldview and has influenced xer thinking and even xer dreams and ideals. It would be very difficult to understate the importance of this contact.

After working with Communism Interstellar for several months, xe left CI and joined Aisling's Angels, for reasons we are unable to ascertain. By all indications, this is where commander Schielman came into xir own. While xe was granted a leadership role suspiciously quickly, by all indications, xe has proven entirely worthy of it. Soon after being granted this position, xe masterminded the pacification of [REDACTED], and put in much of the legwork xerself when it proved necessary. After this, xe planned and helped execute the pacifications of [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and [REDACTED], which also helped propel Aisling's Angels to a new level of prominence.

During this time, xe also [REDACTED].

Commander Schielman has since retired from an active role in Aisling's Angels, though xe is rumored to be helping out with the United Princess Parcel Service.

On a personal level, Schielman is a calm, patient, and even-tempered individual, who largely maintains a sense of professionalism at all times and displays a surprising level of dedication to whatever cause xe is currently serving. As a consequence, xe can often come off as cold, almost robot-like in xer demeanor and has a hard time socializing with people in non-professional contexts. As for xer eyes, they are cybernetic replacements that xe has had since before xe joined CI. No one knows where xe got them or the circumstances surrounding their implantation, and if Schielman knows, xe hasn't shared.
